As we approach Thanksgiving this year, I am beginning to discover there is a difference between giving thanks and having a thankful heart. Here at Hospice of Marshall County – Shepherd’s Cove, we often hear and receive words of thanks from the families we are honored and privileged to serve. These precious folks are not only giving thanks to us for the care we provided, but they have a thankful heart for what it meant to them during one of the darkest moments in their life journey.
As I ponder all that I have to be thankful for during this holiday season, one of them is the blessing of being able to work for an agency such as Hospice of Marshall County – Shepherd’s Cove. We have the profound honor of touching lives and making a difference every single day of the year and for that, I am so very grateful. Our mantra is “Our heart sets us apart.” And for this Thanksgiving holiday, we humbly approach each of you with a thankful heart of service.
Many blessings to you and yours during the holidays and all of the days ahead.
