It is difficult to know how to help others in grief, even for ministers and members of our faith families. Shepherd’s Cove Hospice offers the Life and Loss Summit to educate and empower church and community leaders to help grieving families.
Although this day-long workshop is geared toward the faith communities, the Life and Loss Summit is open to anyone who seeks to better serve others in grief.
We want everyone to receive the help they need during their grief journey, whether that is through Shepherd’s Cove Hospice, their local church, or other organizations and ministries. The Life and Loss Summit is just another way SCH can fulfill its mission “to provide, with a servant’s heart, exceptional individualized care to those coping with end-of-life issues.”
There is no cost to attend the Life and Loss Summit, but pre-registration is requested. Lunch is provided. Nursing and social work CEUs are also available.
