Inpatient Unit Visitors FAQ

What are the visiting hours for the inpatient unit?

Families and friends of patients staying at the inpatient unit are encouraged to visit and stay with their loved ones as much as they desire, even overnight. All guest rooms have fully-reclining chairs and a pull out sofa-bed.

Visitors between 5 PM – 8:00 AM should use the entrance located to the right of the covered door on the right side of the building.

Are there age restrictions for guests?

Children are welcome at the inpatient unit; however, they must be closely supervised by an adult at all times. We do have a children’s activity room and several fun things that can occupy children during visits.

Are pets allowed?

Our four-legged friends may visit also. Pets of the patient are welcome to visit, but should be up-to-date on their inoculations. Visitation should be restricted to the patient’s room. Permission for pet visitation may be obtained from the charge nurse. Prior to bringing the pet to the inpatient unit, the pet should be bathed.

Is there a place to purchase food, drinks, snacks?

Unlimited fountain drinks are available for visitors. Snacks are also available typically thanks to the generosity of churches and other civic groups that donate snacks periodically. Meals may be purchased from our cafeteria for $6 each.
